There just aren’t enough good Warhammer 40K games, in my opinion. So, it’s good news that Full Control is bringing us Space Hulk, which will be a turn-based strategy game.

According to a press release, “Revealing a claustrophobic look, classic to the board game, these first screens show off the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space as a small force of fearless Space Marine Terminators battle in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers.”

Space Hulk will be available for Windows PC, Mac, and iOS. The game is based on the “Sin of Damnation” campaign, from the 3rd edition board game. It will have a 12-mission single-player campaign and a co-op campaign.

According to the press release, “Recreating the tense battles of the board game, multiplayer mode will allow players to go head-to-head as one player controls the Space Marines and their opponent the Genestealers, in the ultimate fight for domination.”

It also notes that players can compete across platforms (so, someone on their PC could play against someone on a Mac or iPhone, for example). And to give it some added gameplay, Space Hulk has a level editor that will let users create their own maps and share them in the central hub for the game.
