There isn’t much to say about the new gameplay trailer released for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct simply because there isn’t much to the trailer at all.

The trailer depicts various gameplay scenes that showcase player abilities to sneak past the witless undead, a selection of weapons, and the use of 40 foot ladders. Also noted are the structure fires and gruesome melee kills, both of which may serve to one’s advantage in possible diversions and the players ability to remain undetected

The game will follow the Dixon brothers (Merle and Daryl) as they overcome the odds stacked against them and make their way to Atlanta. Throughout the game, players will be given a greater insight to the events that lead up to the AMC television show and how the two brothers survived before their debut in the series.

Regardless of how bland the newest trailer may be, it is far to early to decide as to whether this first-person shooter will be one worth fighting for or if it is better off being left for dead.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is due for release sometime in 2013 for the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC.
