Once an Xbox live exclusive, Dawnguard is now (finally) available on Steam for PC. Priced at $19.99 it promises Vampires, additional story, and crossbows.

Bethesda Softworks had agreed to keep the “exclusive” status with Microsoft for 30 days. After those days were up, many in the PC community began to ask where the DLC was. Some began to doubt the future of the DLC, and wild speculation abounded. To make things worse Pete Hines tweeted, “We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given any timeline for any such news. If we have any news, i promise i’d tell you.” shortly after the deadline passed.

Well worshipers of the dark, you may now slake your vampiric thirst, or shoot some twilight wanna-be’s in the heart with a crossbow.

Either way, let the modding begin!
