Imagine if The Hulk lived in a medieval world, wore armor, and had a giant club. Throw in a sneaky goblin sidekick, and what you’re looking at is Of Orcs and Men, an upcoming RPG from Cyanide Studio and Spiders.

The story is reminiscent of the Orc campaign in Warcraft III. The game puts you in control of an elite Orc soldier trying to free both Orc and Goblin kind from the oppressive rule of man. Apparently Orcs are taken as slaves, and Goblins are persecuted and slaughtered.

You’ll play as a very large, burly Orc from a legendary legion of warriors fighting for the Orcs and Goblins, known as the Bloodjaws. After many successful campaigns, you get promoted by the Orc commander to a mission meant to change the war: kill the guy who started all this—the Emperor. He has apparently been using mankind as his puppets in fighting the Orcs and Goblins.

You’ll be joined in this brutish adventure by a Goblin, who will balance out the gameplay. The Orc is good at smashing things, and the Goblin is a master of stealth. You’ll apparently tread through a huge world, encountering wizards, assassins, and soldiers along the way.

Of Orcs and Men, published by Focus Home Interactive, is heading to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in Q4 2012.
