EA Games announced The Sims 3 Generations Expansion pack on Tuesday, for those who didn’t want to delve into the recently released The Sims Medieval.
Going along with the general Sims theme, Generations is a modern-based game that will let players live out some of life’s memorable moments — teen parties busted by police, igniting bags of poo on a neighbor’s doorstep, experiencing a mid-life crisis… you get the idea.
It basically adds in some of the smaller details of life that give an extra dash to the character of The Sims. Hence the name, it will open up the different qualities of each generation, from imaginative kids, to mischievous teens, to the weddings and bachelor parties of adulthood.
The expansion pack will be released this spring, according to EA.
“The Sims 3 Generations includes new gameplay experiences and content that our community has been requesting for years including bunk beds, expansive weddings, midlife crises and more,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA in a press release.
He adds, “Imagine booby trapping a friend’s toilet or turning your imaginary friend into a real person, throwing bachelor or bachelorette parties, all to spend your elder Sims years reminiscing about the past.”
